Congratulations to the Boston Celtics!
The Celtics played well. The Lakers? They played uninspired. They were lazy when it came to the loose balls. And that's what decided this game.
Somewhere, Red is lighting up a cigar. Danny Ainge once again feels like a champion. Bill Russell must be proud of Kevin Garnett. Larry Bird, John Havlicek, Kevin McHale, they all must feel like champs again.
And for KG, Ray Allen, and The Truth? They finally got what they deserved. After spending long, hard, title-less seasons in the league, they fought for something long overdue: a championship ring.
