American League
The American League (or formally the American League of Professional Baseball Clubs) is one of two leagues that make up Major League Baseball in the United States of America and Canada. It developed from the Western League, a minor league based in the Great Lakes states, that eventually aspired to major league status. The A.L. is often called the Junior Circuit because it was elevated to Major League status in 1901, 25 years after the formation of the National League. Initially in 1903, and then annually from 1905, the regular season champions of the two leagues have met annually in the World Series. (There was also no World Series in 1994, when a strike curtailed the season with no League champion decided.) Driver Refinishing
Like many before me, (aaahhhemmm...I assume) I have played a round or two with the boys, where by a few too many beverages are consumed.
Next thing you know you get under 1 or 3 balls and end up with some ungodly sky marks on the top of the driver you so everloving cared for.
I have googled and googled club refinishing and can only come up with 2 locations deep in the heart of the Southern states, and I am not prepared to spend 150-160 USD to get my club buffed, when new drivers have come down so much in price.

Golf membership question
Hello I just recently joined a club, they were having a great deal that I just couldn't pass up. I shoot in the low 100's-high 90's but I replaced my 3-5 irons with hybrids and had a couple lessons. I'm hoping that I can shed a few more strokes and shoot in the mid 90's this season. My question is, should I be nervous that the other members will think I'm a "slow" golfer for shooting high scores or am I just being paranoid and most likely other members have high handicaps as well? What are some of your thoughts and are there high handicappers at your club? Thanks

Shot of the Day
I'd like to hear what yours was....
On my last complete round, I played average (for me), mid-80s, but I had a memorable shot on a 189 yard par 3 into a swirling wind.
The group in front waved my group up and then proceeded to circle the pin, each guy standing about 8 feet away. I thought that that was weird, but because I rarely hit the green on this particular hole anyway, I didn't let them worry me too much. I took a 2 hybrid, let 'er rip, and stuck it right between them....
When it landed, I could see them all jump back a bit...

Stuckey: Play him or sit him?
So what you're thoughts on the whole Stuckey situation?
I personally want him on the floor. I like to watch him play. I want him to get as much time as possible running the point, building chemistry with the new additions. As far as I'm concerned, if the Doctors say he's OK., get him on the floor. Of course if there's any hint of a problem, I want him and the team to be as cautious as possible, but until; they can pinpoint a problem, give him the ball.
