Trafford Council's planning committee has approved the application to redevelop Old Trafford cricket ground and the surrounding area.

OTTAWA – Western Mustangs freshman lacrosse player Lauren Crape has been selected to the 35-player shortlist of the Canadian U-19 women’s lacrosse team. The final 18-player national team will be selected in the fall for the U-19 International Lacrosse Federation women’s world championships which will take place Aug. 3-13, 2011, in Hannover, Germany. The Canadian team will look to improve on its fourth-place finish at the 2007 ILF U-19 championships in 2007.

WMLA strives to continually improve the programs offered to its membership.  One initiative that WMLA intends to focus on in 2010 is a Skills Development Program, with three specific components:1. House League Coaches Mentoring Component 2. Representative Coaches Mentoring Component 3. Goaltender Skills Develpment Component
