Well it has been a very long Winter for those lacrosse enthusiasts (like me).  In the next few weeks, our lacrosse addiction will get served with the Provincial Championships for almost all ages here from August 1-10.  At the same time, we will be spoiled once again with the best Peewee and Bantam players from across Canada. Over the next week and a bit, I hope to be able to speak with a number of the Coaches from across Canada about their team and the upcoming Fesitval.

This is your last chance to sign up to play lacrosse the Fall in Whitby.  The second registration for our Fall season will be held on Wednesday July 23 at 7pm at Sports Garden Cafe (Iroquois Park Arena) in Whitby.

Wamp and I talk about some hard cover books in Episode 4.

OHSWEKEN – The defending J. A. MacDonald Trophy (Ontario Jr B champions) winners, the Six Nations Rebels defeated the Windsor AKO Fratmen 10-7 to grab a 2-1 lead of the Best-of-Five Western Conference Semi-Final at the Gaylord Powless Arena before 650 hot and humid fans Friday night.

Minor lacrosse for boys and girls will be in full force in Clarington this weekend. Below is the schedule and updates should be often.

The Annual Masters tournament in Owen Sound goes this weekend. I have committments from a few guys to update these scores for me.

July 15, 2008 The Windsor AKO Fratmen defeated the Six Nations Rebels tonight 7-6 to even the western conference semi-final series at one game each. The win for the Fratmen ended the Rebels winning streak at 42 games, dating back to July 15th, 2007. Beware the ides of July.

Please note that these are unofficial. But according to my scores I have, and with a great little Excel sheet I received from Guntis Glinavs from London, this should be bang on. The best part of this is that in two weeks I will be able to update this as each set of games are played, so the standings will be up to the last games played.
