This is your last chance to sign up to play lacrosse the Fall in Whitby.  The second registration for our Fall season will be held on Wednesday July 23 at 7pm at Sports Garden Cafe (Iroquois Park Arena) in Whitby. 

Anyone wishing to play this season is welcome to come out and sign up.  This is for returning and new players and will be on a first come, first served basis. 

The LITG Fall Leagues is a fun, non competitive season geared toward moms and dads that want to try what their kids enjoy so much doing throughout the summer.  It is 13 weeks in length and is wrapped up by a season ending banquet complete with gag awards, and more (last year’s innaugural banquet was a blast).  

The game nights will be every Thursday night, starting on August 21st, on the following dates:

As noted last season, proceeds from this Co-Ed league go toward Lacrosse - Inside The Game and the many efforts our Web Site put forth to the game of Lacrosse. These include:

- ongoing sponsorships of young boys and girls to play the game at the Minor Level
- prizes, giveaways for contests on the site
- other LITG “stuff”
- costs asssociated with running, maintaining and updating the information on the site.

Note: To date L.I.T.G. and its supporters have sponsored 5 children to play lacrosse (3 in 2007, 2 in 2008). In addition, we provided a Team Sponsorship in 2008. We will continue to do so, and are always looking to expand to a larger scale.
