US Open 2008 : Monfils tranquille
Gaël Monfils s'est qualifié sans forcer pour le second tour de l'US Open en battant en 3 sets l'Uruguayen Pablo Cuevas. Le français sera opposé au second tour au russe Evgeny Korolev tombeur du suédois Robin Soderling. Ça passe également pour la tête de série n° 4, l'espagnol David Ferrer.
