The other day, when I was home for Christmas break, my friends and I were talking about the fun times we had throughout high school. One topic that came up extensively was air guns. We used to air gun in my back yard and basement. Since we didn’t have all the proper outfits we wore snowboarding goggles and heavy jackets with pants. Once a paranoid neighbor actually called the cops on my friend and I because we were airsofting in the back yard. My brother was in the house at the time, but too lazy to get the front door. Now, what you have to understand is the fact my friend took off the orange tips from the guns, to make them look more authentic. I come running around the side of the house dodging pellets and turn to see two cops at my front door. Here I am freaking out because I am holding a gun. We got a very long lecture from the police and were pretty much “forbidden” from playing with them in our suburban yard. None the less, airsoft guns are a blast. As long as you have the room and protection for them.
