Zdrastvuyte (HELLO)from Russia!

Kayla and Keli here, reporting today on our whereabouts so far. It’s an absolutely gorgeous day here in Kazan, and I’m not being sarcastic. Partly cloudy and around 75 degrees. A complete turnaround compared to yesterday. We had breakfast and enjoyed an hour of down time before we left for training at 10 a.m., ran a few laps around the track and played a little soccer for warm up! It’s always a treat for our team to run around with no shame. We even got Jeff, Doc, Kate, Pam, Steve, and Lee to join in. It was the blue team victorious with the lone goal, slipping past the goalie for Steve to easily put it away on the far post.

We now have an hour before our team bowling competition. As we get ready, the rooms are bustling with noise and laughter. Our roommates as our partners and our task being “creative dress up”, it should be a good time. We’ll try to get some good photos for everyone to see. Time to do our hair and our makeup!
